Rookie Cup

WHAT IS IT?
An incentive for all Novice & National B licence holders

WHAT CLASS?
ALL classes

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Drivers are in the same regular grid for their class but ‘Rookie Cup’ drivers will be competing against one another and will be awarded their own ‘Rookie Cup’ trophy at each club race meeting!

Rookie Cup’ drivers will score Club Championship points in the same way. At the end of each Club Championship, the ‘Rookie Cup’ drivers who have scored the most points (whilst competing as a Novice or Nat B driver) will be presented with a special award at our annual Awards Evening. This will cover 3 separate categories: Cadet Rookie Driver of the Year, Junior Rookie Driver of the Year and Senior Rookie Driver of the Year.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
If you are a Novice or National B licence holder, the grids at TVKC could seem a little daunting to someone who is just starting out in Karting.  Rookie Cup allows drivers of the same experience to compete against one another for their own trophy – helping them to hone their race and track skills to enable them to progress through the ranks.

HOW DO I ENTER?
There’s no need to register for the Rookie Cup – just make sure your entry form is clearly marked that you are either a Novice or National B licence holder and you will be entered automatically.
