As we move closer to TVKC’s fifth round of their 2014 Club Championship, we would like to announce that we will be continuing our Standing Starts trials as per previous Club meetings. At the September race meeting, this will apply to the following classes:
IAME, Honda, Mini Max, Junior Max & Senior Max.
This is the last Club meeting at PFi before the final rounds of both the Rotax and MSA Super One, so it’s a great opportunity to test competitively before that!
REMINDER: Entries will close for this meeting on 2nd September
The X30 Diamond Cup will be contested over two days and offers a great opportunity to showcase these two new categories to a wider audience. The support races are also open to drivers with any licence grade giving competiros who perhaps haven’t experienced a Super One round, the chance to do so.
The entry fees are £140 for the X30 classes and £120 for the IAME cadet.
Entries are now being accepted, get your Entry Form HERE
You’ll also need to complete the Tyre Order Form
PLEASE NOTE: Competitors are required to purchase one set of slicks plus one set of wet tyres. However, the first 20 competitors to enter in each class will receive a complimentary set of wet tyres.
The Balloon Race marked the start of the Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon and provided a great spectacle as they set flight over the track. We’ll be monitoring the returned tickets over the next couple of weeks and will announce the lucky winner on here – let’s see if it can beat last years winning balloon that made it all the way to Sweden!
A big thank you must also go to Tracy Apps for providing her services at the weekend. Tracy was in the marquee doing Gelish Nails which proved very popular with the ladies! A charity waxing also took place on Friday evening which witnessed some very brave men having their chests’ waxed in front on a huge audience – this must be a first at PFi!
Once again, thank you to everyone who bought a balloon race ticket, had their nails done or donated money for the charity waxing.
Cometic Gaskets have kindly offered a special award to be given to the highest placed British driver in the KFJ Final
at the forthcoming CIK-FIA European Championships. The lucky driver will recieve a Cometic Gaskets trophy plus €520!
Trent Valley Kart Club would like to take this opportunity to thank Cometic Gaskets for their very generous offer.
