The ever popular TVKC Winter Series will soon be returning to PFi! Contested over the regular four rounds (December, January, February & March), including back-to-back meetings in January and February, the series promises to be better than ever thanks to some new features!
Each round will be held over two days, Saturday & Sunday, regardless of the number of entries. This new format will consist of Practice sessions and Timed Qualifying on the Saturday and then the Heats and Finals will be held on the Sunday.
In order to maximise the length of track time for each competitor, given the reduced hours of natural daylight, PFi will be able to run the TQ sessions under the newly improved circuit lights if necessary!
TVKC are excited about these new additions to the already very impressive features at PFi. The circuit owner, Paul Fletcher, has gone to great lengths (and cost!) to upgrade the lighting system to comply with the regulations set out by the MSA, allowing track action to take place under the lights if required, offering more flexibility in the timetables for the Winter months.
So with a full day of Practice sessions followed by TQ on Saturday and then Sunday dedicated to running the Heats and Finals, we hope you’ll agree you’ll be getting value for money at the TVKC Winter Series!
Entries for the Winter Series can be made online via Trakdata in the usual manner. As the meetings will be over two days, the Practice and Entry fee will be added together as one payment for each round, making the signing-on process on Saturday morning much more streamline.
The Series will be held over these four rounds:
Round 1 03 + 04 December Fee: £105 per driver
Round 2 28 + 29 January Fee: £115 per driver*
Round 3 04 + 05 February Fee: £115 per driver*
Round 4 04 + 05 March Fee: £115 per driver*
With the tarmac paddocks, extensive free plug in electric points, TVKC paying the overnight parking fees on your behalf and the luxury of the indoor viewing from the Panorama Room, don’t let the colder weather deter you from racing over the Winter months, come and be part of the ‘new look’ TVKC Winter Series.

Please note that due to the new format of the Winter Series only drivers entered to race on the Sunday will be allowed to practice on the Saturday.
* please be aware that the difference in price is due to the fact the Club’s fees shall be increasing in 2017 (Entry fee £60 / Practice fee £55)
