Following the FIA’s decision to make changes to the International calendar, we have taken the decision to change the date for Round 5 of the Club Championship and revert back to it’s usual spot on the first Sunday of the month.  This will mean that Round 5 will now be held on 31 August – 01 September 2024.

As you will be aware, we will be hosting the FIA World Karting Championship in September and it is usually customary to have a Champions of the Future event two weeks prior to this.  This fell on the first Sunday of September so, based on this, and the fact that there are five Sundays in September, we opted to switch the Club Championship round to the end of the month.  However, the FIA had to make changes to their calendar which meant that the Champions of the Future meeting was pushed back a week, leaving the first Sunday of the month available again!  We thought long and hard about whether to leave Round 5 where it was or move it forward… we decided to move it forward to the beginning of September, our normal first Sunday of the month spot.

We apologise if this change of date has caused anyone any inconvenience.  We hope this new date suits the majority of people and you can understand our reasoning behind switching the dates.
