There may be no track action at the moment thanks to the Coronavirus but there is certainly a lot happening off track, behind the scenes at TVKC!
Here’s a little update for you all…
March ‘Winter Warmer’ Meeting:
For as much as we are all wanting to see this race meeting take place, we are being cautious at the moment, waiting on the Government’s decision in mid-February as to whether or not this meeting can take place. We will of course keep you up-to-date on all our latest decisions so watch this space and fingers crossed!
PF Challenge Cup:
This is due to kick off at our April meeting which falls over the Easter weekend. Another bank holiday coincides with Round 2 in May, where we also plan to welcome the opening round of the LGM. June (R3) will include the welcome return of F100 and the series will be wrapped up in July.
Remainder of 2021 Season:
We then of course have our annual, blue ribbon event, Kartmasters GP In August followed up with our ever popular 4 round Autumn Cup from September – December.
Aswell as planning the race meetings, work is also taking place to develop a brand new TVKC App (more news to follow shortly!), our pioneering online Marshal Training sessions – keeping our officials and volunteers up-to-date with all the latest changes and Membership and Pit Bay applications continue to come flooding in.
In summary, the future is still looking positive and it is just a matter of when we can re-open the venue and when the Club can re-start racing again.
We hope this update brings you up to speed with the current situation at TVKC and be assured, as soon as we have the ‘green light’, we will be in touch!
